Every artist has a muse.Call her heartache, madness,cocaine or myth.Regardless of the art,there's always a girl.Aneki is a comics - poetry collaboration between writer Tamryn Bennett, myself and visual artists Jackie Cavallaro and Tamara Elkins. The story is set in Scarlet Hill, an artists slum on the edges of a salt lake. After the disappearance of Memory, mother of muses and the imagination and inspiration of all artists, the city begins to rust. Trapped in the Library of Loss, where the codex of all stories, deaths, ideas and dreams is kept, Memory is powerless to watch the artists war with each other. Only by incarnating in four new muses, Mina, Polly, Eve and Kyto, can Memorys crumbling empire be saved.
